Three Cups of Tea

We have been reading Three Cups of Tea in our class. Here is a picture of one of the schools that is being built, thanks to Greg Mortenson. Click on the photo to see it even bigger!

If you would like some more information about the book, you can go to Greg Mortenson's website and look around. There are also some great photos!

He even has a blog!

When browsing through a blog or a website, make sure you take time to really look and read.

I was wondering what your feelings were about the book so far, or about any thoughts you have from looking at the links above.

Leave your thoughts or feelings in the comments!

It is amazing how there can be people that are willing to do anything to help other people... Just the feeling u feel when you know you are doing the right thing and the other people will appreciate what you do for them.....

I love this story, because it shows you how big or how little we are. Hope that more people read the story and get to understand the meaning of help.

I think the book is great so far. It makes you appreciate what you have, because there might be other people on the other side of the world that might not have anything and wish they did.

This is a great book, because it's a awesome real life story that we can learn through it and make better decisions about the way we are using our life to do a better world for the children, after all, they are the future of the humankind. Remember the little things makes great changes!!!

Two things that I love to see are people learning and mountains. The pictures from Three Cups of Tea are full of people who love to learn and majestic mountains, just like we have here in Colorado.

It makes me smile to read the things that our students write. Your thoughts are going out to the world when you write in a forum such as this. I will check in often to see your work!
